In the course of planning a heating system renovation, we were commissioned to record actual data of the boiler room with a laser scanner. In order to create a basis for the subsequent plan drawing, we precisely recorded the room with various systems, pipes and valves from different positions. Thanks to the fast and precise operation of modern laser scanners, the two-story room was captured in a short time. The digital twin now forms the basis for the plan drawing and later construction. After completion of the construction work, the room will be recorded a second time with one of our laser scanners in order to create precise as-built plans and make them available to the building management.
